The RAM 1500 comes with various impressive performance options. However, it’s not just the raw power that makes it one of the most sought-after half-ton trucks. Although some previous model years didn’t perform very well in terms of reliability, the current-generation Ram 1500 is one of the safest and most reliable options in its class.

With eight different trim levels and a long list of configurations, buying a 2022 Ram 1500 can be an overwhelming process. In this article, we’ve tried to break them down to help you choose the configurations that best suit your needs and budget. Although the Ram 1500 TRX is an eye-catching option for those looking for supercar-level performance in a truck, we’ve left it out of the list for obvious reasons; the TRX is essentially a whole other truck with a different purpose.
